Our Team

Nikki Meredith

Chief Executive Officer

Nikki was born in South Africa and moved to Port Lincoln with her family when she was 12. Growing up as the daughter of a country GP, along with her extensive business management and primary health care experience means Nikki is passionate about the delivery of aged care services and realises that it comes with a particular set of challenges not faced by our city counterparts.

However Nikki knows that our small community offers an extraordinary level of care, compassion and sense of “family” that makes us unique and is delighted to be able to have a part in guiding Matthew Flinders Care Services into the future.

Danielle Green

Danielle Green

Director of Residential Care

Danielle was raised on a farm in Coulta (65km North West of Port Lincoln). After working as a nurse, she took over the role as the coordinator of the MFCS secure dementia unit ‘Waratah’ before being appointed as the Director of Residential Care in June 2015.

Danielle’s passion for aged care continues and she strives to make aged care a positive experience for all care recipients, along with their families and friends.

Beck Cotton

Community Services Manager

Beck grew up in North Shields and started her working life within a Real Estate office but quickly realised that she wanted to be able to give back to my community and moved into the not for profit sector.

Beck completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences and moved into management roles as well as transitioning community mental health programs into the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Beck is passionate about social justice and advocating for quality services in regional locations and look forward to continuing the great work of Matthew Flinders Care Services into the future.

Leah Slape

Services Development Manager

Leah was born and raised on a family farm in Cleve. She has been working for Matthew Flinders Care Services for many years, starting out as a receptionist and working her way up to her current position of Business Manager.
