On the 16th – 22nd of October the Australian Red Cross held anti poverty week.
Anti Poverty Week brings together community organisations to highlight issues of poverty and hardship in Australia. An estimated 13.9% of Australians, that’s 2.5 million people that live below the poverty line and that figure includes 603,000 children.
