Matthew Flinders Care Services are seeking to employee Personal Carers to join our team. As a Personal Carer, you will contribute to providing individualised support to the Care Recipients while using a Care Recipient centered and consultative approach.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Must be flexible and have a calling to care
  • Have good written and communication skills
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
  • Current Seasonal Influenza Vaccination

CASUAL ANCILLARY ASSISTANT (CLEANER/KITCHEN)

Matthew Flinders Care Services are seeking to employee a casual Ancillary Assistant (Cleaner/Kitchen) to join our team.

As an Ancillary Assistant, you would contribute to the general cleaning of the facility and undertaking any duties required to assist in the smooth day to day operations of the kitchen and serving of care recipient meals.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience with commercial cleaning equipment
  • Cert 2 in Kitchen Operations or equivalent is desirable
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
  • Must be flexible

CLINICAL NURSE 

Matthew Flinders Care Services is currently looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team.

The Clinical Nurse would be a Registered Nurse with a minimum 5 years experience and have the ability to manage the designate nursing unit staff and care recipients using contemporary Gerontic Nursing practices and knowledge including

  • Clinical care and assessments
  • Care plan development and implementation
  • Assessment of care recipients including ACFI knowledge and experience
  • Medication management
  • Wound management
  • Palliative care
  • GP Management
  • Quality Control and Improvements
  • Education and Care Staff support
  • Allied Health referrals and coordination
  • Infection Control
  • Communication & problem solving with Care Recipients and representatives
  • Stock Management
  • Immunisation experience is highly desirable.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current National Police Check
  • Pass a pre-employment medical
