Hello All,
Our family is very excited to have moved to Port Lincoln so that I can take on the role of CEO at Matthew Flinders Home. We have come from Mildura in Victoria, where I was the CEO of Jacaranda Village for 2 ½ years. I graduated as a Speech Pathologist in 2000 and since then worked as a Speech Pathologist and Manager at various health and aged care services. In 2015 I took 2 ½ years off from the public sector to have a family (Ruby and Robby) and ran a private business focusing on aged care documentation and Speech Pathology assessments. I have also developed a formula for people with dry mouth during this time that assist mostly the elderly.
My husband was farming up until 2018 and we leased our farm in Nhill and moved to Mildura for me to take up my CEO role. He looks after our children full time and runs a website for farmers wanting to buy and sell grain, hay and machinery. We are looking forward to our life in Port Lincoln and I personally am looking forward to getting to know Staff, Care Recipients and families alike.
