HOME SUPPORT WORKER 

Matthew Flinders Care Services are seeking to employ an experienced Home Support Workers to join our ever growing Home Care team providing high quality in-home care to people within the Port Lincoln region to help them achieve their goals and live their best lives. 

As an experienced Home Support Worker you working closely with people to achieve their goals, assist with day to day activities and provide high quality care in their home and in the community. Duties may include assistance with personal care, meal preparation, medication support (in house training provided), helping around the home with light housework and shopping support. Flexibility to work after hours and on weekends an advantage. Casual & Perm Part Time positions available.

The successful applicant will:

  • have a certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support

  • have current First Aid Certificate

  • have a current Drivers Licence with suitable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

  • hold a current NDIS Worker Screening or be willing to obtain.

  • pass a pre-employment medical

  • provide evidence of current Influenza vaccination

HOME​ CARE CASE MANAGER

Matthew Flinders Care Services is seeking to employ a Registered Nurse to join the Home Care team as a Home Care Case Manager.

As a Home Care Case Manager you will be working closely with our Care Recipients to understand their goals and to help them live their best lives in their own homes.

Daily tasks may include undertaking assessments, conducting quarterly or annual reviews, developing support plans, working with the Care Recipient to implement new services, arranging equipment, helping Care Recipients to make decisions to best utilise their Home Care Package.

The role is ideally Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30pm, offering flexible working hours to accommodate school hours for the right applicant, as well as excellent salary packaging benefits – increase your take home pay!

The successful applicant will:

  • have a current AHPRA registration

  • have experience in case management (desirable but not essential)

  • have knowledge of Home Care Packages (highly desirable)

  • have or obtain a NDIS Worker Screening

  • pass a pre-employment medical

  • provide evidence of current Influenza vaccination

ANCILLARY ASSISTANT (CLEANER)

Matthew Flinders Care Services are seeking to employ a casual Ancillary Assistant (Cleaner) to join our team.

As an Ancillary Assistant (Cleaner), you will contribute to the general cleaning of the residential facility as required (minimum of 25 hours a fortnight)

The successful applicant will :

  • Have experience with commercial cleaning equipment

  • Display good communication and people skills.

  • Be punctual and reliable and have a strong work ethic

  • have or obtain a NDIS Worker Screening

  • pass a pre-employment medical

  • provide evidence of current Influenza vaccination

PERSONAL CARER 

Matthew Flinders Care Services are seeking to employ Personal Carers to join our team.

The Personal Carer contributes to providing individualised support to the Care Recipients while using a Care Recipient centred and consultative approach.

AFTER HOURS PALLIATIVE CARE REGISTERED NURSE

Matthew Flinders Care Services are are looking to establish a casual pool of Registered Nurses to be rostered on call (flexible rostering) to assist us with home visits for the Eyre Peninsula Home Hospice Service.

DAY CENTRE LIFESTYLE COORDINATOR 

Matthew Flinders Care Services is seeking an experienced and innovative Lifestyle Coordinator at our Day Centre!

As Lifestyle Coordinator you will design and lead a dynamic Day Centre monthly activity calendar based on wellness and reablement that aims to achieve attendees social, physical and wellness goals.

Day to day tasks will include leading the activities at the Day Centre, planning new outings and activities, promoting Day Centre activities, maintain attendance records and meet with Care Recipients to identify new opportunities. 

This role is Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30pm, offering flexible working hours for the right applicant.

The successful applicant will:

  • Cert IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) or equivalent

  • Experience in coordinating aged care activities desirable

  • have or obtain a NDIS Worker Screening

  • pass a pre-employment medical

  • provide evidence of current Influenza vaccination
